Tom Cruise leaves his family behind


The actor has to go home to the U.S. to deal with preparations for his next movie and has to leave his wife Katie Holmes Down Under with the couple's three-year daughter Suri. The family has spent all summer together in Australia, but Monday night Cruise flew from Melbourne bound for California.

Mel B drags partner to court


The former Spice Girls star Melanie Brown and husband Stephen Belafonte drag a former business partner named Dan Catullo to court.

The couple accuses him of breach of contract and fraud. Catullo has forged other singer's signature on various documents.

Brown and Belafonte write in their claim that they signed a cooperation agreement with Catullo last year.

They jointly formed a company that would make money on Browns' music, touring company, merchandising and public appearances. "

The partnership is now in ruins, and the former Scary Spice demanding a compensation of seven million dollars.

R. Kelly will release Jackson's new album


R. Kelly will finnish and release Michael Jackson's last album.

Melrose Place is back


The U.S. TV network CW has now officially begun on a new and modernized version of "Melrose Place" - with an Oscar-winning director at the helm.


Trade magazine The Hollywood Reporter writes that the script for the pilot section is approved and will be recorded with Davis Guggenheim behind the camera.


CW to maintains the confidentiality of the plot in the script, Darren swimmers and "Smallville" writer Todd Slavkin have supplied. The plot, however, expected to lie in extending the known intrigues and complications from the original series about a bunch of young people living in an apartment block on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles.


Melrose Place, "which began on U.S. television in 1992, became a big succes around the world with names like Heather Locklear, Andrew Shue, Courtney Thorne-Smith and Marcia Cross on the role of the list.


Guggenheim was awarded an Oscar for Al Gore documentary "An Inconvenient Truth" and is working with heavy TV series such as "24 hours". Early in his career he was an instructor at more letbenede things, including "We bli'ri family. The director is fun enough affinity to Shue. He is married to his sister Elisabeth.

Britney Spears will tell the truth

Applegate: 2009 is my year!


2008 was not exactly the 37-year-old actress Christina Apple Gates years since she first lost a former boyfriend to an overdose that caused the death, after which she received a double mastektomi when she got breast cancer in both breasts.

She explains that she sees 2009 as a new fresh start for her.

French Oscar-winner is dead


The French director, screenwriter, producer and actor Claude Berri has died after a brain haemorrhage. He was 74-years.

TV star sentenced to ten years in prison


Lillo Brancato Jr, who plays Matt Bevilacqua in the TV series "Sopranos" now has his conviction for shooting a police officer in New York back in 2005.


Brancato Jr. was acquitted in July, shortly before the killings, but now he was sentenced to ten years imprisonment for the robbery, which ended with the launching of the deadly shots at police officers.


The actor has already served three years of the sentence at this time.

Patrick Swayze hospitalized
