A statement from the trade magazine Star Poll shows that the pop queen's "Sticky & Sweet" concerts in the U.S. and Canada tickets sold for 105.3 million U.S. dollars, about 558 million dollars, and thus peak year Madonna live chart.
The singer is several million ahead of its nearest rival Celine Dion, which won a North American ticket sales of 94 million dollars.
This is followed by The Eagles by just 73 million dollars, closely followed by country singer Kenny Chesney with 72 million.
Bon Jovi rounds off the top five thanks to a concert turnover of 70 million U.S. dollars.
